Dozens Of PS5 And Xbox Series X Game Tokens Appear On Amazon And Even A 2TB PS5

With one day to go before the PS5 games event, Amazon has filled up game tokens from many companies probably fake, or at least provisional.
There’s only one day left for the long-awaited PS5 gaming event … and Amazon, or its vendors, are already gearing up for the possible wave of bookings after whatever they announce while it’s now and peak.
As compiled in forums like Reddit and resetera, dozens of chips have emerged for games, consoles, and accessories for PS5 (and also for Xbox Series X). Some of them have been removed, others are still available, but there is not much more to do.
It should be noted that several of them refer to games by Konami, Bethesda, Rockstar, Koch / DeepSilver, Namco Bandai, EA, Microsoft, Sony, Take 2 / 2K, Warner, SEGA, Activision and Ubisoft.
Likewise, chips were found for the PlayStation 5 itself. With two different versions, one of 1 TB and 2 TB. Interestingly, both at the same price: £ 599.99
Both the price and the chips are a guideline. It is already known that the PS5 SSD will have a storage capacity of 825 GB, something that already in itself completely disassembles the entry in Amazon.
According to a Reddit user, there are as many as 118 tentative listings of games and accessories on Amazon UK. Several analysts, such as Daniel Ahmad, warn that we should not pay much attention to this since they may not even correspond to real games in many cases. Movements like these happen on Amazon and other digital stores continually.
How to improve a game on the new generation PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles
What is certain is that Thursday, starting at 22:00, we should see a good handful of games that will arrive with PS5. Many of them, like Horizon Zero Dawn 2 or a Silent Hill reboot, seem almost guaranteed. Will we have been correct in our predictions?

Steam Deck 2 won’t arrive for a couple of years

When asked about the possible arrival of a more powerful Steam Deck, Valve’s Pierre-Loup Griffais hinted that we won’t see a successor to the hybrid between PC and portable console for at least a couple of years. The decision depends both on the intention to maintain a fixed ecosystem in terms of optimization targets for developers, guaranteeing players that every Deck in circulation is able to run the same titles, and on hardware issues.
Valve, Griffais said, will work on increasing performance only when it is possible to significantly increase power without significant impacts on efficiency and autonomy. And it’s something that according to the developer won’t happen over the next two years. We will therefore have to wait until at least 2025 if not 2026 to see a Steam Deck 2 appear.
Changing performance levels is not something we take lightly and we only want to do it when a significant enough improvement can be achieved. We also don’t want increased performance to come at a significant cost to power efficiency and battery life. I don’t foresee such a leap being possible in the next couple of years, but we are still closely monitoring innovations in architecture and manufacturing processes to see where this goes. – Pierre-Loup Griffais, Valve
Despite Griffais’ words, improved versions of the current model cannot be ruled out which would undoubtedly benefit from greater autonomy or a screen with Variable Refresh Rate. Just think of the recent rumors about the new Valve hardware and also how it never refers to specific models, excluding only the increase in power.
Meanwhile, the Steam Deck is still capable of running the latest games but struggles with titles like Starfield, despite the optimizations of version 3.5 of the console’s operating system, unlike consoles like the Asus ROG Ally and the Ayaneo AIR 1S. It stays through most attractive in terms of price /quality ratio, being available for 419 euros in the version with 64 GB of storage, however expandable with solutions such as the WD Black SN770M SSD.

Director of Star Wars Jedi Survivor Leaves EA, Why

Director of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Jedi: Survivor, Stig Asmussen is reportedly leaving Electronic Arts ( EA ). Why?
According to reports, Asmussen is leaving EA to seek other challenges in his gaming industry career.
“With careful thought and consideration, Stig Asmussen has decided to leave Respawn to pursue other adventures, and we wish him the best,” an EA spokesperson said.
“Respawn’s veteran leaders will take a key role in guiding the team as they continue their work on Star Wars Jedi: Survivor,” EA continued.
Asmussen has been a director at Respawn Entertainment for 14 years. Previously, he worked at Sony Interactive Entertainment, where he primarily worked on the God of War series, including God of War III.
Currently, Asmussen has not yet determined his next destination.
The Star Wars: Jedi series has been a striking success story for EA, making it something of an exception to the company’s experience with the franchise as a whole. When EA first revealed Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order in 2018, the company had just faced major controversy over the implementation of loot boxes in Battlefront 2.
Despite being criticized for bugs, Fallen Order turned out to be a success for EA , and Survivor further strengthened the series.
Asmussen previously said that he wanted to make Star Wars: Jedi a trilogy, so his sudden departure is all the more surprising.

The second story of Sea of Thieves: The Legend of Monkey Island is now available

The second part of the collaboration between Sea of Thieves and Monkey Island will take us on a search for three lost symbols.
The last Xbox Game Showcase had several protagonists. Fable, Clockwork Revolution, and Towerbone were some of the titles that attracted the most attention, without forgetting Starfield. However, there was another exclusive Microsoft game that announced the news at the show that, in the meantime, was somewhat more covered up.
We talk about Sea of Thieves and its new free expansion: The Legend of Monkey Island. A unique collaboration with the iconic license that allows us to live unique adventures. A series of new chapters that allow us to explore Melee Island and enjoy new game mechanics. Something that we already saw in the first chapter and that is repeated in the second that is now available.
Return to Melee Island and embark on a new adventure
Dubbed The Search for Guybrush, this new grand tale picks up where the previous one left off. In it, we have the mission to make Guybrush Threepwood see reason, for which we will have to find the three symbols with true pirate courage. This new chapter brings new mechanics and new areas available on Melee Island to explore.
Previously, we could only visit the city, while the rest of the island was covered by a mysterious fog that prevented passage and has now moved in some areas.
Sea of Thieves is now available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC, in addition to being included in Xbox Game Pass.
