Fortnite’s Save The World Mode Comes Out Of Early Access, But It Won’t Be Free As Promised

At this point, it seems like a lie, but yes, Fortnite started as a cooperative game in which we had to survive hordes of enemies controlled by AI. The Battle Royale superseded this modality, which has been in early access for several years. Until now.
Epic has just announced that Saving the World is no longer early access starting today, but it comes with a catch: it won’t be free, as promised. At the last moment, Tim Sweeney’s company has decided that Fortnite’s PvE mode is going to be paid forever.
From now on, updates to Save the World will be much less frequent. The skins and cosmetic elements added to Fortnite will not be compatible with this modality, although we can always use the ones that we already have.

All in all, this departure from early access brings with it a new feature called Adventures, with which Epic wants to give greater save replayability to the Save the World mode. There is also a new tropical biome, pirates, and more. As for the heroes, missions, events, and others, they will rotate in each season of PvE.
The decision to remove Save the World from early access has other effects. Finally, the label stating that the game is in a first state will be removed from both Battle Royale and Creative mode. Being Fortnite, a game that for almost three years has been at the top of its genre, it was weird to see that label still there.

Keyboard and mouse support on Xbox and more news with Patch 24 for State of Decay 2

We have been with the new generation of consoles for almost three months now, new hardware that has come to bring us experiences like we have never seen before, in addition to significantly improving what we already had with games already released.
Today we have a good number of games optimized for Xbox Series, State of Decay 2 being one of them, a title that had a disastrous launch and that little by little has become one of the essential games for everyone who has a Microsoft console.
State of Decay 2 now supports keyboard and mouse on Xbox
Undead Labs has undoubtedly set an example with the support it has given to its latest title, with constant updates and improvements, right now we have one of the games that are worth trying, even more so if we are within the Xbox Game Pass service.
The support for State of Decay 2 by the study is still very strong since update number 24 has been received today, which brings several interesting news, although the most striking is the one that adds keyboard and mouse support to Xbox consoles to play the title, something that will certainly not go unnoticed by more than one player. As usual, this patch also brings some fixes and adjustments, although in this link we leave you the full details of everything added.
- Active sieges are now automatically pinned to your HUD when you return home and trigger the countdown to the assault, making it easier to notice the siege before entering Juggernauts.
- Fixed an issue that caused Juggernauts to evaporate when trying to chase a human into a building.
- Zombies (especially Bloaters) are no longer allowed to appear on top of you when traveling at high speed. They were abusing their spawning privileges and have been punished.
State of Decay 2 is a title worth trying, at least before the third installment arrives that is already in development and that will see the light in the future for Xbox Series and PC.

Lego and Sega team up to create a Sonic set

Last Friday the approvals of the Lego Ideas program appeared. Two sets received the green light to go into production and one of them was the fantastic Sonic Mania: Green Hill Zone confirmed just a few hours ago. From the Danish company, they reported that they had reached an agreement with Sega to be able to produce the design created by fans that for now has no release date or defined prices.
The set will include a number of Sonic Mania characters, with Dr, Robotnik, and the beloved blue hedgehog leading the way. As if they were supporting artists, there are also some creations of the mad scientist always in search of chaos emeralds and some creatures of the forest to brighten up the scene a bit. The cherry on the cake is, without a doubt, Robotink’s wick that has two gigantic drills for hands and the possibility of placing the enemy figure inside the cockpit.
Sega, Sonic, and Lego Ideas and grateful fans

For those who do not know the Lego Ideas program, it is an initiative of the most famous company of mini plastic bricks where they ask their fans to send their ideas of sets so that the community can vote for them. If the number of votes reaches 10,000, Lego evaluates them and considers them to launch. Achieving that achievement is very strange and even more so when there is a licensed product in the middle as was the case with Sonic.
However, in this case, the set based on Sonic Mania , acquired such relevance that Lego was able to make an agreement with Sega so that in the future the first set based on the franchise in history reaches the homes of many fans.
With this great step between the two companies, can we be excited about a Lego Sonic on consoles and PC? Just thinking about it is already moving me to tears.

Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War does look different on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War arrived on consoles on November 13, becoming one of the titles that welcome the new generation of consoles.
As you already know, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X have different graphics power, and it is completely normal for gamers to wonder which one works better.
A video recently appeared that answers this question, since it puts both versions of Call of Duty side by side so that you can analyze where it looks with more quality.
YouTube channel NB MOTIONS decided to side-by-side gameplay of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, running on PlayStation Series 5 Xbox X.
In almost six minutes we can see the definitive comparison in the graphical performance of both consoles, using the Treyarch title, and to notice the differences you will need a well-trained eye.
We do not tell you more and we leave you the video below.
As you can see, the graphic performance is extremely similar on both consoles; However, lighting Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War looks somewhat clearer on Xbox X Series.
For its part, the PlayStation 5 version stands out in the details of the environment and the definition in some particles, for example, the fire scene.
The differences are minimal and do not allow defining a winner in terms of performance, so you will have to experience it for yourself.

We will have to see other types of comparisons such as loading times and how much the fps is maintained, but it will come later.
If you’ve already tried Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, let us know what you think.
