Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order optimized today for Xbox Series X and S

With The Mandalorian still kicking its tail among Star Wars fans with the enormous success of its second season, one of the titles that we wanted to take up is precisely Jedi Fallen Order, the single-player adventure that the masters of Respawn brought us to the end. of 2019. Thanks to the addition of EA Play on November 11 to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, we can play on our Xbox without any excuse, but today we have a greater incentive.

And it is that without warning, Electronic Arts has just announced the details of the update now available, which optimizes Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order for Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PS5. An exceptional way to revive or decide to play this huge title in the next-gen. These are the details of the patch:

Xbox Series X :

  • Performance mode : Frame rate increased to 60 FPS and dynamic resolution added from 1080p to 1440p
  • Normal mode : Post-processing has been increased to 4K and dynamic resolution in the range of 1512p to 2160p

Xbox Series S :

  • Frame rate increased to 60 FPS (was 45 FPS) and dynamic resolution range (unspecified).

Jedi Fallen Order is the next target for your Xbox Series

As you can see, Xbox Series S, having no distinction between modes, does not enjoy that post-processing improvement, but in the patch notes we can see that PS5 does not improve in the same way as Xbox Series X, having only one mode that combines all at 1200p, 60fps and 1440p post-processing. With this attitude, have no doubt that we will soon see the corresponding technical comparison between versions.

One way or another, it’s a great time to decide to try this gem of action that many consider one of the best games of 2019 and possibly of the generation. With a sequel already planned by Respawn again, Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order is well worth keeping an eye on.

Pumpkin Jack will also receive Ray Tracing in its free version for Xbox Series X

Just a year later and this time, ready for Halloween, Pumpkin Jack returns to the attack with a version adapted for Xbox Series X and PS5, without details at the moment for Xbox Series S, which of course will receive improvements, but still undetermined.

And it is that this arcade of platforms so colorful and particular we are sure that it will paint great with the typical improvements of the new generation. If you don’t know what we thought last year, here is the analysis, which is precisely from a server.

Specifically, we are not talking about any improvement, because again, another title is aimed at both including Ray Tracing, in this case, Pumpkin Jack will have two graphic modes, one based on Quality, which reaches 4K resolution, quality ultra effects or shadows and ray tracing, however, will run at 30fps.

On the other hand, we will have the well-known performance mode, which should not be despised, since it discards some of the ultra and Ray Tracing improvements, but still maintains the 4K objective, but at 60 fps.

Pumpkin Jack arrives at the nextgen in time for Halloween

It should be remembered how curious Pumpkin Jack is and the merit of being developed by a single person, Nicolas Meyssonier, all in Unreal Engine and with an incredible result that reminds us a lot of the golden age of platforms like Medievil.

We will have to be attentive to their new projects, but for now, we can only tell you that this update is totally free, so if you bought it at the time and you have not touched it yet, perhaps this is the moment. Well, rather on October 27, which will be when the version of this generation is released.

Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War does look different on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War arrived on consoles on November 13, becoming one of the titles that welcome the new generation of consoles.

As you already know, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X have different graphics power, and it is completely normal for gamers to wonder which one works better.

A video recently appeared that answers this question, since it puts both versions of Call of Duty side by side so that you can analyze where it looks with more quality.

YouTube channel NB MOTIONS decided to side-by-side gameplay of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, running on PlayStation Series 5 Xbox X.

In almost six minutes we can see the definitive comparison in the graphical performance of both consoles, using the Treyarch title, and to notice the differences you will need a well-trained eye.

We do not tell you more and we leave you the video below.

As you can see, the graphic performance is extremely similar on both consoles; However, lighting Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War looks somewhat clearer on Xbox X Series.

For its part, the PlayStation 5 version stands out in the details of the environment and the definition in some particles, for example, the fire scene.

The differences are minimal and do not allow defining a winner in terms of performance, so you will have to experience it for yourself.
