Resident Evil Village Reasons Why The Game Is Exclusive To The New Consoles

Resident Evil Village

Resident Evil Village: Last Thursday, Capcom officially revealed Resident Evil Village, the direct continuation of Resident Evil 7, which will hit Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. Capcom announced the game at the PlayStation 5 event, but a few minutes later confirmed that the game. It was in development for both consoles and PC and will launch in 2021.

Many players have wondered if Resident Evil Village would reach current consoles and it is confirmed that it will not, Capcom is developing the game exclusively for the new machines. The renowned Dusk Golem, an expert in Resident Evil and a person who has shared numerous information from the saga and who have subsequently been officially confirmed, has spoken about this.

Resident Evil Village exclusively for the new generation

I had some clarification on why they decided to produce RE8 only in the new generation, although it was previously planned as a cross-gen game. The fact is that with the review of the graphics that the developers are carrying out (and that is still in progress). Resident Evil 8 would have involved many emerging phenomena and long loads on current consoles. This is because the game allows you to move around most of the Villa with many areas to explore.

Just because there is a greater focus on exploration in the game, this would have caused significant problems, with significant limitations on the beauty and incisivity of some scenes. So they decided to abandon the versions of the current console. They want it to be almost entirely free of charges and to advance further in the graphics sector without any restrictions.

As we can read in the paragraph above, Capcom wanted to offer the highest possible graphic fidelity and not compromise its vision of the game with its launch on current consoles. This is the decision to only develop it for the new consoles from Microsoft and Sony.

Resident Evil Village producer explains why Ethan Winters is back

The Resident Evil franchise is currently at its best. Thanks to the future publication of its eighth installment and the expected release of its new film in theaters, the developer Capcom assures us that there are still many stories to tell related to this universe full of the undead.

For this reason, the producer of Resident Evil Village has revealed in an interview the reason why Ethan Winters returns this time. If you want to know more about this title, surely you will be interested to know that this new plot will have a longer duration compared to its predecessor.

Ethan Winters returns to Resident Evil Village

Thanks to an interview with Peter Fabiano in the latest issue of PlayStation Official Magazine, we can see that this curious character was one of the things that he liked to implement the most during the development of Resident Evil 7. Therefore, they decided to give a continuation to its intriguing plot.

Conception and planning had been on the minds of our developers since the end of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. The team became very fond of Ethan as a character, so we knew we wanted to continue his story arc. We wanted players to continue to experience the game through the eyes of protagonist Ethan Winters. After all, this is a sequel to Resident Evil 7: Biohazard.

This really helped keep our vision on target. And since we’re constantly sharing information between Resident Evil teams, that really helped inform us to make what we consider to be the best survival horror game to date.

And you? Are you eager to know what Ethan Winters will have in store for this terrifying adventure? Remember that Resident Evil Village will be released on May 7 for Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One, and PC platforms.

Flying Wild Hog does not stop working and is already thinking beyond Shadow Warrior 3

The Flying Wild Hog Poles don’t know what it’s like to rest and for us players, that’s a very good thing. In 2020, even with the Covid-19 crisis in full swing, the studio announced the highly anticipated Shadow Warrior 3 and Evil West but as if all this were not enough, it seems that the software foundry is still on to launch more and more products.

In a blog post, Flying Wild Hog confirmed that he has two more projects in the oven. One is an action-RPG in which they are working together with Jagex and which had been talked about very above in 2020 but the other is so far a complete mystery.

The Flying Wild Hog’s future is a full steam locomotive

To clear up some doubts and generate others, the Poles decided to make a publication as if it were narrated by a presenter of these traveling fairs, namely:

And finally, here are the two most recent projects in the Flying Wild Dog stable. I know you are thinking “well, this young man is going to tell us about the secret projects” or not? Well, it’s not like that, I really wish I could tell you, but I can’t.

What I can tell you is that the projects will be revealed this year and that one of those productions is taking place in Krakow with the wonderful people at Jagex. And of course, the projects are the highest quality Flying Wild Hogs can deliver. In the future, I will have more news to share with you, and believe me it will be worth the wait.

The mysterious publication is accompanied by two images overshadowed by what will be these two mysterious productions that have certain similarities with some space theme and what appears to be an old church.
