Playstation 5 Will Arrive in 2 Versions

The most anticipated moment of the day arrived, and Sony revealed to the world PlayStation 5, its new console that will arrive this year and that from the beginning makes it clear that a new generation is yet to come and in this case, it will be a big one.
At the end of the PS5 event, Jim Ryan, CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, was responsible for presenting the official design for the PlayStation 5.
Following the colour scheme of the DualSense control, the console, with a futuristic design, will be white with some parts in black and blue details.
As seen in its design, this one appears to be intended to deal with ventilation problems from previous consoles, so openings for airflow are found in at least 75% of the hardware.
On the other hand, the surprise came when Sony announced that the PlayStation 5 would launch with 2 models, one traditional with a reading unit and the other focused solely on digital content, which will be known as the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition.

Also, PlayStation 5 will not break with its tradition as a multimedia centre and from what was seen in today’s presentation, the package will include the console, the DualSense, a charging station for this controller, an HD camera, a headset and multimedia control. Unfortunately, there is no price or release date yet.

Mortal Kombat, the next chapter could be a reboot

Apparently, there will be a reboot of Mortal Kombat: in the past few hours, the official YouTube channel of the legendary fighting game franchise has released a very short teaser that doesn’t show anything of the game in development but suggests in a rather obvious way that in terms of plot, it opted to start from scratch, or rather, from one.
It’s quicker to see the video than to read the explanation, but for those who can’t: you see an analog clock whose second-hand moves slowly up to 11 (note that the last Mortal Kombat released so far is right there ’11), and when it’s time to move to 12 it “teleports” quickly to 1. The video ends with a rather clear message: it’s almost time.
The announcement of a new chapter of Mortal Kombat had already been given by Warner Bros. last February: the company had said that it will arrive by the end of the year. At that stage, there was express talk of a Mortal Kombat 12, but it is not known whether it was a simple internal communication error or if the mind was changed during the work.
The times are clearly ripe: not only MK11 (from which the opening image comes) was released four years ago now, but the new chapter of one of the historical rivals of the saga, Street Fighter 6, is also about to be released.
Over 20 Mortal Kombat-themed games have now been released since that distant 1992; the saga immediately stood out for its frenetic gameplay and above all for the high rate of exaggerated splatter, accentuated above all by the complicated and highly spectacular end-of-match moves known as Fatalities.
Warner has also recently decided to bring the franchise back to the big screen, after the two live-action films released in the 90s. The reviews have always been a bit so-so, but the receipts have not been bad – so much so that Warner has decided to approve a second film, whose release date is not yet known.

Keyboard and mouse support on Xbox and more news with Patch 24 for State of Decay 2

We have been with the new generation of consoles for almost three months now, new hardware that has come to bring us experiences like we have never seen before, in addition to significantly improving what we already had with games already released.
Today we have a good number of games optimized for Xbox Series, State of Decay 2 being one of them, a title that had a disastrous launch and that little by little has become one of the essential games for everyone who has a Microsoft console.
State of Decay 2 now supports keyboard and mouse on Xbox
Undead Labs has undoubtedly set an example with the support it has given to its latest title, with constant updates and improvements, right now we have one of the games that are worth trying, even more so if we are within the Xbox Game Pass service.
The support for State of Decay 2 by the study is still very strong since update number 24 has been received today, which brings several interesting news, although the most striking is the one that adds keyboard and mouse support to Xbox consoles to play the title, something that will certainly not go unnoticed by more than one player. As usual, this patch also brings some fixes and adjustments, although in this link we leave you the full details of everything added.
- Active sieges are now automatically pinned to your HUD when you return home and trigger the countdown to the assault, making it easier to notice the siege before entering Juggernauts.
- Fixed an issue that caused Juggernauts to evaporate when trying to chase a human into a building.
- Zombies (especially Bloaters) are no longer allowed to appear on top of you when traveling at high speed. They were abusing their spawning privileges and have been punished.
State of Decay 2 is a title worth trying, at least before the third installment arrives that is already in development and that will see the light in the future for Xbox Series and PC.

Lego and Sega team up to create a Sonic set

Last Friday the approvals of the Lego Ideas program appeared. Two sets received the green light to go into production and one of them was the fantastic Sonic Mania: Green Hill Zone confirmed just a few hours ago. From the Danish company, they reported that they had reached an agreement with Sega to be able to produce the design created by fans that for now has no release date or defined prices.
The set will include a number of Sonic Mania characters, with Dr, Robotnik, and the beloved blue hedgehog leading the way. As if they were supporting artists, there are also some creations of the mad scientist always in search of chaos emeralds and some creatures of the forest to brighten up the scene a bit. The cherry on the cake is, without a doubt, Robotink’s wick that has two gigantic drills for hands and the possibility of placing the enemy figure inside the cockpit.
Sega, Sonic, and Lego Ideas and grateful fans

For those who do not know the Lego Ideas program, it is an initiative of the most famous company of mini plastic bricks where they ask their fans to send their ideas of sets so that the community can vote for them. If the number of votes reaches 10,000, Lego evaluates them and considers them to launch. Achieving that achievement is very strange and even more so when there is a licensed product in the middle as was the case with Sonic.
However, in this case, the set based on Sonic Mania , acquired such relevance that Lego was able to make an agreement with Sega so that in the future the first set based on the franchise in history reaches the homes of many fans.
With this great step between the two companies, can we be excited about a Lego Sonic on consoles and PC? Just thinking about it is already moving me to tears.
