One of the games that we are most waiting for in the newsroom launches this November 25, I mean Asterix & Obelix: Slap Them All that arrives on Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch and PS4. The studio responsible for this work has just announced to the French site Jeuxactu another nostalgic bombshell with the confirmation of a remake of Joe & Mac: Caveman Ninja.

The game is currently in development by the people of Mr Nutz Studios and Microids who are not only in charge of the new Asterix title but were in charge of remastering Toki, where they did a great job in a genre that they seem to know about. perfection thanks to most of the team members working on Ocean for a long time.

Joe & Mac renewed but with the same quality

As with the new Asterix game, Joe & Mac’s brand new production will be entirely handcrafted without losing the atmosphere so characteristic of the platforming classic. Best of all, you won’t have to wait too long to see the cave ninjas in action again as the title is scheduled for 2022.

What little we got to see of the new Asterix game filled us with confidence in terms of quality, which is why our expectations for the Joe & Mac remake are already through the roof. If you want to enjoy the classic title without emulators, GOG released some packs this year that might interest you.

Chorus will debut early next month, which may be of interest to many players. Deep Silver Fishlabs has finally presented its gameplay and the dynamic gameplay may prove to be a great option for many flying fans. Check out the gameplay.

The premiere of Chorus will take place on December 3 and today we can check the pure gameplay. The duo’s task is to destroy the dark cult, and the heroine will wade through the galaxy, discover ancient temples and experiment with powerful abilities to finally be able to achieve her goal.

Today we can finally check how Chorus really looks like and it must be admitted that it looks really interesting. It is hard to say what experience the missions will provide and whether the gameplay at some point will not be too repetitive, but the title is very dynamic and the Forsaken gameplay can be great fun.

Chorus is coming to two generations of consoles (PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One), but also to personal computers (Steam, Epic Games Store).

Patch 1.02 for GTA The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition was released a few days ago. Many Switch owners were hoping the update would correct animation fluidity issues in this release. How is it actually?

The topic decided to check out Youtuber Cycu1, who prepared a comparison of GTA The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition in the premiere state and with the 1.02 update installed on the Switch. Unfortunately, it turns out that the remasters of the iconic versions of Grand Theft Auto are still the weakest on the Nintendo console. Framerate often drops below 25 frames per second.

In some scenes, the situation even looks as if the Switch offered worse animation fluidity than on the day of release. For example, in the 7th minute of the recording, while driving through the busy place under the viaduct in GTA San Andreas, the framerate dives in the premiere edition to the area of ​​23-24 frames per second. With the patch installed, the game seems to generate a slightly lower framerate than in the older version of the game.

This is of course a great disappointment. Many people hoped to play such old productions on Switch with the highest degree of liquidity. Unfortunately, we received a poorly optimized production – not only on the Nintendo console but also on … PS5, where the game has a problem with micro-cuts in the smoothness of the animation, even in the 30fps mode.

Sony shut down the PlayStation Home servers a few years ago, but fans decided to restore the initiative. Thanks to their own servers, they managed to revive the project and now players can spend their free time together.

PlayStation Home is a very ambitious endeavour by Sony that has been in development since 2005. The Japanese allowed PlayStation 3 owners to create their own avatars, and then those interested could spend time in the virtual world. Beta Home took place in December 2008, the project was in development until November 12, 2014, and the servers were completely shut down on March 31, 2015.

However, players decided to recall PlayStation Home and, like Motorstorm, set up their own servers – the Destination Home Team and PSONE communities worked together to invite fans to PS Home:

“Greetings to Home Veterans!” Today was a huge event for Destination Home Team x PSOne Emulation Team as we finally reached a point in our development where the lobby sessions work on the original PlayStation 3! “
