Xbox Series S
According to the Maneater team, the speed of the Xbox Series SSD ‘cannot be underestimated’

With October about to end, we are getting closer and closer to the launch of the new Microsoft consoles, Xbox Series X and S. Having lived this atypical 2020 where there have been no live events due to COVID-19, it has really been difficult to be able to see them working up close, and that is why we have been getting to know their characteristics and their potential very little by little.
One of the elements that will make the difference in the next generation of consoles will undoubtedly be the SSD, since the difference in performance of this with the disks used to date is abysmal. In fact, according to the development team of the fun Maneater, the power is such that it ‘cannot be underestimated’.
Xbox Series Will Remove Many Developer Limitations
In an interview for Xbox Wire , Maneater producer David Amata, the most important element in developing the Xbox Series version of his video game is undoubtedly the SSD:
The speed of the SSD within the Xbox Series X cannot be understated. It has allowed us the freedom to make the world Maneater is even more impressive visually, helped to reduce load times and even helped to increase the draw distance.
In addition, when asked about future projects, he comments that what they have planned would not have been possible for Xbox One, and that the new consoles are going to ‘raise the bar’ for video game development:
The power and capabilities of this new generation have raised the bar for our limitations with consoles. Many times we have to sacrifice some amazing ideas for our games because they simply cannot be implemented with current generation hardware. Now, more than ever, we are excited to begin to fully realize our vision for what comes next from Tripwire.
Xbox Series X | S will hit the market on November 10 , and from that same day we will be able to enjoy the new generation version of this Maneater.

This is how the Master Chief Collection performs in all its Xbox versions

After several months that many of us have seemed endless, the time has finally come to enjoy the new generation of consoles, as Microsoft last week launched the new Xbox Series X and Series S, which have been a success in sales both in reserves and in the batch that we have had these days.
Although many of us would have liked to be able to play Halo Infinite with the launch of these new consoles, we have a good number of games optimized and prepared to take advantage of the new hardware, something to which the Master Chief Collection has been added does nothing.
Master Chief Collection performs great on both Xbox One and Xbox Series
Without a doubt, the new generation is giving incredible moments just beginning, since although the collection has not been patched to take advantage of the hardware, we already saw a few days ago that these consoles work their magic as well, especially with loading times.
But now we have the Master Chief Collection fully ready to work on Xbox Series, something that can be clearly seen in the new video of the ElAnalistaDeBits channel, in which we can see how loading times, resolution, drawing distance, and frames per second improve notably, although this collection also demonstrates great performance on Xbox One, save for Halo 2 Anniversary which has fps issues.
It is also important to mention that this works at 120 fps on Xbox Series X / S, although they are being measured with the limit of 60. What is clear is that the new generation is going at full speed and without drops.
The Master Chief Collection is at its best on both Xbox and PC and we expect the folks at 343 Industries to reveal details on Halo Infinite in a few weeks, which we are really looking forward to.
